I recently stayed at Moonlight Tay Ho in Hanoi and had a wonderful experience. The stay was incredibly comfortable, and the reception staff were exceptionally sweet and accommodating. The breathtaking view from my room added to the overall charm of the hotel. Everything was impeccably clean, and the attention to detail in room cleaning was evident. The hotel staff went above and beyond by arranging a tour for me, making my stay even more memorable. One standout feature was the inclusion of a washing machine in the room – a unique and highly appreciated addition. However, it's worth noting that the hotel is a bit far from the main center (Old Quarters), which could be a downside for those wanting a more central location. Despite this, Moonlight Tay Ho offers a delightful and cozy retreat with excellent service.

We wanted somewhere quieter than the Old Quarter but close by for our last two nights of our trip. This place was recommended on a Facebook group for travel to Vietnam. My friend and I booked two apartments: A balcony room and a Garden View room. They both provided great views of the West Lake and Hanoi and were clean and comfortable. The staff were great to communicate with before arrival and knowing there was a 24 hour concierge available was great. Rooms were comfortable and secure. The Garden Room even had a full kitchen and dining table! We found great coffee and food nearby and it was a five minute ride by Grab to Old Quarter and Hoan Kiem Lake. Great accom at a great price.

I arrived before check-in time and Tracy allowed me to check-in early. I appreciate that a lot. For the rest of my stay, I have dealt with Alice, who enthusiastically had assisted me with all my concerns. In a foreign country, you’d want someone reliable like her as a receptionist, so I rebooked another stay after my side trip to Cat Ba. The place is near the West Lake and another lake. The neighborhood has a relaxing and laid-back vibe. The area has a beautiful jogging path and many coffee shops surround the property. If you have been to Hanoi several times like I have, in my opinion, this is the next best place after the Old Quarter.

Excellent service with great communication skills, they provided everything we have asked for. About the rooms also perfectly clean and very cosy, all the facilities like washing machine, cloth dryer, hair dryer, wi-fi, A/C, iron is inside and ready for the use for guests. Very close to the city centre and all the landmarks as well as old quarter, 3 min by walking there is circle k that is open 24/7 and on the opposite side there is a street with a lot of local food and small shops. We also asked for leaving our luggage for few days because we were travelling to Sa Pa and there was no problem at all! 10/10

The location of the hotel is a perfect mix of a calm and quiet spot to recharge after a day in the city while also being close enough to everything you need, with cute cafes, restaurants and stores around. The room was very spacious and clean with a comfortable bed. What made the stay so perfect for me however was the incredible staff that works here. Especially Alice and Hue have been so invested and helpful, and did their absolute best to help arrange a laptop for me while I was staying here. I have never encountered more lovely and engaging staff at a hotel, and I can‘t recommend a stay here more!
